Dr Tiryaki chaired Freedom of expression in a democratic society

On 20 November 2023, as Chair of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Slovakia, Dr Tiryaki chaired “Freedom of expression in a democratic society”, the second debate in the series Values-Education-Freedom. The event took place on the premises of the Bratislava International School of Liberal Arts. BISLA Rector, Samuel Abraham, opened the discussion with academics and human rights experts, Dagmar Kusa and Andrea Erdosova. Topics of discussion included the threat of misinformation in society, the fight against it, as well as questions about authority in identifying misinformation.
