Last week, Assoc. Prof. Tiryaki presented her paper, “EU Enlargement and Geopolitical Imperatives: Türkiye and Ukraine,” at the 12th Annual Conference on International Studies (CESRAN2025), held at the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL) in Lisbon, Portugal. This interdisciplinary conference, jointly organised by CESRAN International, UAL, and OBSERVARE, brought together a diverse community of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world. The papers were valuable contributions to the discussions on European integration, regional security, and global diplomacy.
