On 21 September 2023, Dr. Tiryaki was officially appointed as a member of the Slovak government’s Council for Human Rights, National Minorities, and Gender Equality. The Council is a permanent expert, advisory, coordinating, and consultative body of the Slovak Republic in the field of protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms, political and civil rights, and rights of persons belonging to national minorities and ethnic groups. As a member, Dr Tiryaki will be actively participating in the Council’s activities.
